Meira Care accepts most third-party insurance benefits for those who do not have OHIP coverage. Currently, we accept Blue Cross, Guard. Me, IFHP as well as various third-party companies such as UHIP. To find out if your insurance is eligible, please contact us and we will verify your insurance coverage.

Some insurance companies require patients to pay their fees upfront and they will provide reimbursement to the patient directly. Each patient will be provided with a receipt once payment is made to submit to your insurance company to seek reimbursement.

What does telemedicine through your virtual care clinic cost?

If you are an Ontario resident with a valid Ontario health card, your consultation will be covered by OHIP.

If you are an uninsured individual the cost of the virtual consultation is $50 CDN (including all applicable taxes), per visit.

We also accept all insurance plans where you may be fully covered or have reduced pricing. Please check your coverage with your insurance provider to see if this applies to you.

Virtual medical visits are also available to individuals who reside outside of Ontario on a fee for service basis.

What are Meira Care’s operating hours?

Our virtual clinic is open Monday-Sunday from 8am – 9pm Eastern Standard Time including statutory holidays.
